Event Description:
DCPA's first 2022 in-person social event "Psychology on Tap" will take place this upcoming Monday, May 2nd at 7:00pm. We have reserved a private room on the top floor with a full bar, private restroom, TVs, and photobooth. "Psychology on Tap" will be hosted at a mom-and-pop bar called Sudhouse DC (located at 1340 U Street NW). On Mondays, Sudhouse has Happy Hour all day. Light appetizers will be served. The U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo metro is one block away and on the green and yellow line.
Laurie Paul, PhD, will talk about what the research says on how to navigate some of the stumbling blocks of conflict between couples and loved ones, whether you're single, dating, or in a committed relationship. She will also discuss potential red flags of toxic communication and when it's time to throw in the towel and walk away.
This is a FREE event but registration is required so we know how many people to expect! Members and Non-Members are ALL welcomed!
